BRITISH FILM MERGER
The British Trade Commissioner in New Zealand is advised that an important step towards the establishing of British pictures in Australia and New Zealand has been taken by the amalgamation of British Dominions 'Films, Ltd., the principal distributors of Empire films, and Greater Australian Films, Ltd., the leading Aus-tralian-owned firm. The merger affects fivTe main British producing companies and means that British talking films will be handled by the men who have been responsible for launching the two major American corporations on the Australian market.
