^ DARGAVILLE, This day. Tlie Ivaipara Hospital Board this afternoon dealt in committee with a report by tbe medical superintendent on the Otamatea Hospital at Paparoa. When the board returned in open meeting, Mr W. Collinfc (Maungaturoto) moved, and Mr W. T. Hunt (Ruawai) seconded. "Tliat members of the Ivaipal'a Hospital Board are not satisfied with the present conditions at Otamatea Hospital in regard to tlie recent infectious case; that the Health Department be notified accordingyl, with a request that a searching inquiry be held at a early date ; that the board oarnestly l-Oquest tlie Health Department to close the institution to maternity cases until an inquiry is held." The secretary was instructed to telegraph the resohition.
