TOUR OF HOMELAND

TO BE MADE BY DOMINION DAIRYFARMERS. PRESENT BOOKENGS TOTAL 150.
AUCKLAND, This day. A tour of England and Europe by a party of New Zealand dairyfarmers has been ai-ranged by Thomas Cook and Son. At present 75 farmers and farmers' wives have made bookings for tlie trip and it is probable that the number may reach 100 before the bookings close. The first contingent of the party will sail from Sydney by the Orama on April 23, hut the majority will leave for Auckland hy the Maunganui on April 24 and rrom Wellington by the Ulimaroa on May 2, to connect with the Ormonde, which sails from Sydney on May 10. The rest of the party will go hy the Panama route, leaving from Wellington hy the Ionic on May 7. Arrangements have been made for the farmers to commence their tour of England on June 20, and their itinerary has heen designed to enable them to see the chief agricutural shows in Great Britain. After a tour of the British Isles, the party will proceed via Jersey to the Continent. The farmers will visit France, Switzerland, Germany and Denmark. Their European tour will end in London on September 5. Members of the party have the option of returning via Suez,, via Panama, or overland, across America. It is expected that the main body will arrive back in New Zealand early in November.
