Her populanty in inusical comedy has carved for her a special niche in London and New York, and now slie appears in pictures for the first time. This picture, while telling a story of the time of tlie war, does not give any of the horrors or hattles, despite the title. It tells of e "battle'} that men on leave had m Paris for fun, excitement and gaiety that would make tliem forget the trenches. Y'ou will laugli at Charles Ruggles, who is featured with Miss Lawrence in this picture, wliich.is the steliar attraction at the Cosy Theatre to-niglit for the last time.
