— ^ VISITOR TO HASTINGS. UNWELCOME ESPERIENCE. This morning. Hastings was enveloiied in one of tlie heaviest fogs exprienced for many months. So dense was it. that at a distance of 50 yards, all vision was practically obscured, whilst at times it had the appearance of heavy misty rain. It was well 011 towards ten o'clock before the fog was displaced by welcome sunshine.
