Store sheep recovered in value slightly at Addington sale this week. The xhost noticeable feature of the sale was the firming of fat cattle values of 10s to 20s per head for all classes. * * * The average price per 1b for fat lambs was from 6|d to 7|d. Some fat show ewes brought up to 28s lOd. Best medium-weight prime heef made from 40s to 42s 6d per 1001hs. * * * The prices for wool offered at the Wanganui sale on the 31st ulto. were helow those ruling at the sale.held on the 3rd idem at the same centre and on a par with values ruling at the last Napier sale. I * * * Napier wool offerings for the current season were 78,713 bales compared with 105,652 bales for last season, a difference of 26,939 bales. Gisborne wool catalogued this season approximabed 10,000 bales, while for the previous period the aggregate was nearly 17,000 bales. Wool sold at auction this season has been less than that disposed of in 1928-29.
