IN IHE AIR AT SAMOA. Speaking at tlie air pageant in Hastings on Saturday, the Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Defence, paid a glowing tribute. to the services of Flight-Lieut Wallingford in Samoa. He said that Flight Lieut. Wallingford was using a Moth; coiiverted into a sea 'plane, and with this he was doing great work, he added, "it is a dangerous work, for if his macliine failed to function, his chances of landing in safety are very small."
