GOLF AT TE MATA

EXCELLENT LINKS NEAR HAVELOCK. The golf links at Te Mata, Havelock North, are in excellent condition and, besides being attractive to the easyswinging player, they should be the best of links for beginners. Among the many virtues of this course on the liills those of the gentle slopes and clear ground should appeal very widely for it should be almost impossible to lose a ball there. During the last interval of good weather players could be observed having a round 011 these pleasant links and keeping their eyes on the ball.
