IN THE RING

FRIDAY'S BIG BOXING. SARRON COMING TO HASTINGS. Pete Sarron, the famous American scrapper, will accompany Lou Bloom to Hastings, and the committee of the Hawke's Bay Boxing Association is endeavouring to arrange for Sarron to give an exhibition bout in the Municipal Theatre on Friday night, and there is every prospect^of Sarron agreeing to the proposal. All arrangements for the big contest 'oetween Bloom and Morgan are well in hand and both' contestants are confident that they will be able to provide fans with plenty of thrilling action. In addition to the big bout no less than four amateur flutters will be presented, and if these bouts approach anytliing near the standard of recent amateur bouts", patrons are in for a great night' s sport, and those who are wise will reserve their seats at Donovan's, Hastings, or at the Bristol Piano Company, Napier. For the benefit of Napier patrons, additional fouses will run to Napier after the contest. In connection with the contest, it is notified that no smoking will be allowed in any part of the theatre, except in the fo.ver, and any offenders of this rule will be liable t6 prosecvition.
