SEQUEL TO COLLISION

CASE HEARD IN COTJRT. A civil action was heard at the Hastings " Magistrate's Conrt this morning wlien L. E. Dumbley (Mr W. le B. Helleur) proceeded against J. Pouriri (Mr E. J. Hallett) for £10 7s 3d damages arising out of a collision which occurred on the Fernhill bridge in January last. The defence was one of contributory negligence. After hearing the evidence His Worship gave judgment for plaintiff for £12 4s 3d, inclusive of costs.
