Received This Day, Noon. SYDNEY, This day. The city cororier fouml tliat fche shooting of John Prendegast was justifiahle and Mrs Barry, who had beeii charged with murder, was discharged. Receiving information that a shop in Surrey Hills was being raided, police went there and found John Prendergast, aged twenty-three, dying in tlie yard. He succumbed an hour later in hospital from a bullet wound in the stomaeh. Mrs Kathleen Barry, owner of the shop, was arrested and charged with murder, and three men were cap tured hy the police on charges of breaking and entering.
