GEORGE BANCROFT IN "THE MIGHTY"—MAJESTIC—TO-NIGHT.
Hail the new show world in all-talk-in^ pictures, Paramount has put real old-time action in the talkies! George Bancroft, in "The Mighty," which commences at the Majestic Theatre ionight, is a real tfariller, Things we had expected to wait years to see and hear have been bundled into this picture in a grand style. The cast is a real thrill, just vead these names, George Bancroft, Esther Ralston, Walmer Oland, Raymond Hatton, O. P. Heggie, Dorothy Revier and Morgan Farley. The story is that of a prewar gunman, who smiled at the law, was forced into the war, and emerged a natiolial hero without a past. He is made police chief of a crime ridden city, but his old gang find him and they plan a grand raid, with his aid. Growing tired of waitng. they hold up three banks, while Bancroft and the police force are at a picnic. Off goes deep-chested George at the head pf fifty motor e^'cle officers riding at breakneck speed, hring as fast as their automatics will S|liqot ! What a thrill! From thence on the action is so swift that we are told six eameyas wero required to catch it. and you won't doubt this statement in the l«ast -when you see and hear, "The Mighty." An excellent seleetion of vaudeyille short subjects will support the feature film. Tlie plan wil] be at the theatre during the holidays. Call or ring 9708.
