ANZAC DAY FIRE SUPPRESSED. NO DAMiGE DONE. At fen minutes to mid-day yesterday the Hastings Fire Brigade was called to the residence of Mrs Fannin, in Fitzroy Avenue, and on arrival found that the hot water service had ignited the ceiling of the house. Fortunately, however, the outbreak was noticed in fcime and it had been practicaljy exbinguished by the time the brigade arrived, and no serious damage was ione.
