PORT BEAT BLUFF HILL. OTHER CLUBS ENGAGED. Bowling was continued on Saturday under fair weather conditions, the most noteworthy contest being at the Port Ahuriri Club, when Bluff Hill lifted the shield from the home side. Both sides had entered 6trong fceams, and it was expected that the Port would hold its own. The result was that Bluff Hill won hy a margin o* 28 points. In three rinks Bluff Hill won comfortably, Newton's win over Mayo hy such a large margin heing especially surprising. Tlie only Bluff Hill rink to lose went down to Wrightson, who had a decisive win.
