AN UNINTEBESTINQ DISPLAY. Ragged football was produeed by the meeting between High School and H.S.O.B. in the second grade. The game was not sufficiently open to allow tlie backs many opportunities and several cliances were thrown away on botb sides by fumbling. Smith scored two tries for H.S.O.B. and Daniels scored one and converted two. For the school, Mahoney scor ed a good try, after following up a long ,punt by himself. He also converted. The final score was : — H.S.O.B 13 High. School 5 Mr M. F. Woodward was referee. PIRATES AND T.C.O.B. DRAW. Open but unfinished Rugby was seen in the Pirates-T.C.O.B. second grade clasli. Typical early season form was noticeable, but both teams appeared to liave material whicb sliould improve as the season goes on. O'Brien kicked a penalty tor T.C.O.B. and Head scored a try. For Pirates, Hill scored a try, and Griffin kicked a penalty goal, the final score being : — Pirates ... s.. ..*. ... 6 T.C.O.B 6 Mr H. Kidson was referee. M.B.O.B. BEAT CLIVE. In a fast and exciting match played on Farndon Park, the M.B.O.B. junior representatives defeated Clive by two converted tries, 10 points, to nil. Play tvas open and fast, despite the hard nature of the ground, the backs seeing plenty of the ball. The visitors showed superior combination to the homesters. TARADALE^ GOOD WIN, Taradale scored an easy victory over T.C.O.B. 's B team in the second grade. The home team was by far the stronger side and not a point was registered against it ,the score being: — Taradale 20 T.C.O.B. B 0
