BOXING
HAWKE'S BAY EXECUTWE MEETS * Mt A. M. Brodie presided over a meeting of the executive_ of the ■ Hawke s Bay Boxing Association Iast night, when it was definitely decided not to pay Ted Morgan his share of the purse in connection with the re- ■ cent 'contest with Bloom. ' A halance sheet of this contest was presented and was regarded as quite satisfactory. It was reported that all arrangements were completed for the amateur night in the Hastings Municipal Theratre on Mav 8. A speeial vote of thanks was accorded.Mr s_ J. McKee, for his donation of a gold watch in connection with the amateur tournament recently beld in Hastings.
