PENDING SUBDIVISION
COUNCIL AND HARBOUR BOARD TO CONFER. PROBLEMS OF 28-ACRE BLOCK. A committee consisting of the Napier City Council as a whole will meet ,i coimnittee of Messrs Jull, Creagh, Eriksen, Jones and Lyou from the Napier Harhour Board ta confer regarding the sub-division of the 28acre bloek. and Mr Morse's cottages, on George's Drive. A decision to suggest May 13 as the date of tlie meeting was made by the council last evening. A letter received from Messrs Mason and Dunn stated that witli regard to lot 4, tlieir clients agreed, in consideration of Messrs Morse and Robertson giving up a small portion of lot ! to enable their clients to make an ofler to the council of a street oue chain in width, to reduce the pur-clia-se price hy £65, Ieaving the balanee pavable at £200. The letter was referred to the council as a committee.
