The number and kinds of game which may be taken by any ohe person in any oiie day is as followS:— Five cock pheasants, 20 Cafifornian quail, 10 Australian quail, 5 Mallard duek, and 25 head in all of gre|r duck, widgeon and black swan, provided that not more than 15 grey duck may be taken or killed by afiy one person in any one day. Native pigeons, Paradise duck and pukeko are protected.
