(To the Editor.) Sir, — In your issue of the 24th April there was a report of the conference held in Wellington by the, Grand Lodge of the Loyal Orange Institution. As one reads the resolutions passed b.v them, one feels that it is not complete It should conclude as follows : — • "That this Grand Lodge enters its mostemphatic protest against the enforcement hy the Minister of Defence of Catholics participating in any war which may occur in the future. Should the ministers appealed to feel unable to comply with resolutions owing to a slight humane kink, will they, as an alternative, place before their Government the advisabilitv of liaving ail Catholics painfully destroyed for thrf good of the country — I am. etc., "SAVAGE."
