The Meteorological Department' b forecast at noon to-day, for the following 24 hours, was as follows: "The indications are for westerly moderate winds and hacking hy west to south. There is a prospect of fair weather with cool temperatures. Barometer rising slowly. Seas, moderate; tides, moder-' ate."
