Mrs Eugene Hugh Fischer, her four
young children, and Mr A. B. Walker, the occupants of' the, cutter Maroro, which disappeared from Auckland in November last and was wrecked near Pago Pago, American Samoa, arrived in Dunedin by the Maui Pomare. Fischer was arrested on a charge of stealing the cutter.
