RUGBY, May 29. A national society in London, under the control of a board of governors appointed by the Prirae Minister and maintained hy a grant of £100,000 a year from tho revenue of the Broadcasting Corporation, is recommended by a special committee under the rhairmanship of Lord L.vtton set up by tlie Government to frame a schepie for tlie establishment and endowment of a national centre of dramatic art. Tlie report savs tlie Shakespeare memorial committee could provide £100.000 to the amount required for a theatre. which. after nreliminary ,exnenditure. should be self-supporting Simh a theatre would provide continual oppnrtnnities of see'ng the hest plays of all a«res wnvthilv presented.
