Young, A. D. Lynch, R. M. Hewift, H. V. Pliillips, A. Kirkpatrxck, H. Brown, A. W. H. King, B. Tweedie, D. Corbett, N. A. McKenzie and J. W. Callaghan. The Taihape Sub-Union approached the cominittee regarding the possibility of obtaining a visit from a B tcam some time tliis year, and offered the Hawke's Bay Union 33 1-3 per cent. of tlie gate reeeipts. . . The matter was deterred nntil tlie end of July. The Wairoa Sub-Union asked^ whetlier a return visit from ' a. NapierHastings team would be possible on l Sat'urdav, as that was a holiday and th? Wairoa Rugby finances were in need of aid. It ivas deeided to offer J'une1 28 as the only date available. On this day the Hawke's Bay representatives will be in tlie Wairarapa. The Napier-Hastings team will include plavers from further afield. . The Hawke's Bay Referees' Assoc-ia-tion offered assistance in management of the crowd at the British match, their offer being accepted witli thanks. Callaghan suggested that Ihe referees might more fully observe tlie rule regarding' the rushing of a piayer aftev he liad parted with the hall, stating that he liad heard that one club had lost three nieniliers through injury tliis seas-o# because of this. After further discussion Mr Callaghan' s motion that tlie matter be hrought to the notice of the referees was carried.
