NOTES AND COMMENTS
Fat stock maintained previous rates an Stortford sale on Wednesday last, but store sheep were not in demand and prices decline'd considex-ably. Ifc does not look as though the store stock market is likely to improve much until f armei's are assured of amp[e feed to cari-y their stock over the Winter. * * # Both fat cattle and fat sheep prices showed an improvement at Addington this week. Fat wethers wei'e 2s 6d and fat ewes 2s per liead better. Fat lambs were ls to ls 6d per head in advance of last week's rates. * * The present sei'ies of London wool saies is pi-oceeding with good general competitions at prices firm on late rates. The Sydney wool market also continues firm despite the fact that Bradford buyers are quiet.
