AUCKLAND, Lasfc nigth. The second day of the Auckland Trotting Club's meeting was held today in cold and sliowery weather. There. was a good attendance. The course was very heavy The totalisator liandled £34,524, against £35,378 on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £64,882 10s, against £74,067 lasfc year. Royal Handicap. — 8 Nelson Girl and J Blue and Gold dead heat 1, 9 Direct Ac-tion 3- Scratched : Rapu Boy. Dead heat, tliird three-quarters of a length back. Time, 5min. 15secs. Suhurhan Handicap. — 4 Deriver City 1, 9 Trustworthy 2, 1 Gold Measure 3 Scratched : High Sea. "Won by one and a-half lengths, with half a length between second and third. Time, 5min. 2sec.
