Mr Keith' s accompanying letter to the presidftnt of the R.S.A. reads : "I have much pleasuve in lianding over to the funds of the Hastings R.S.A. Unemplovment Fund the mucli-appreciated gift of £36, lianded to me by citizens of Hastings on my retirement from the Hastings Fire Brigade." _ Atr Keith 's generoiis gift will cany with it a £ for £ subsidy from the Borongh Council and possibly a sipiilar subsidy fioia .the Government.
