M. klowlem, S.M., in the Napier Magis,trate' s _ Court this morning judgment for plaintiffs in default of defendants was given in the following undefended civil cases : — Robert Holt and Sons v. A. W. Stewart £42 10s 5d, costs £4 1 3s 6d ; E. A. Fischer and Sons v. Neil Thompson £7 9s, costs £1 12s fid; Anderson and Hansen, Ltd. v. V. S. Dalton £13 7s fid, costs I8s 6d; C. Munro v.- Alf. Baines £6 7s 6d, costs £1 10s fid ; Player Bros, v. J. S. Gray £3 2s, costs 23s 6d ; Tlie Elite Cash Gvocery v, Maiw Elizabeth Miller £3 19s 2d. costs 24s fid; Hawke's Bay Farmers' Co-op.. Association, Ltd. v, G. Taylor £6 9s lOd, costs £1 30s fid. JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. E. "VVebster was ordered to pay R. H. Oulton £4 8s, in default five days' imprisonment, the warrant to he suspended for one month from date of issue. ' P. Sullivan was ordered to pay J. H. Rundle £2 18s 8d, in default three days, the warrant to be suspended for one month. A. E. Oording was ordered to pay J. II. Rundle £7 8s 3d, in default eight days' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended.. so long as defendant pays 10s per week. W. Mousley was ordered to pay J. Wray £2 10s fid, in default three days' imprisonment. MAINTENANCE. Rohert Joshua Burns, arrested o'n a warrant, was charged with being £5Q in arrears 011 niaintenance orders for his wife and children. The matter was adjourned for three months, defendant being ordered to report weekly to the maintenance officer, Napier.
