STOCK SALE
WILLIA3IS AND KETTLE, LTD. Williams and Kettle Ltd., Waipukurau, report having lield a very suecessful clearing sale yesterday at Hatuma of live and dead stock on account of the trustees of the late Mr Thomas Burnett. There was a good attendance of the public, and bidding throughout the sale Was brisk, all lots being disposed of nnder the hammer. Prices ohtained are as follows: — 208 ewe hoggets 16s 6d, 12 m.s. do 10s; 177 2-tli ewes in lamh 19s 4d, 212 6 and 8-th ewes in lamb los, 205 4-tli ewes in lamb 19s. 200 4 and 5-year ewes in lamb to S.D. • ram . :14s 4d, 7 wethers 17s 9d, 3 cull ewes 3s 6d, 6 3-shear.ling S.D. rams 1J gns., 1 aged do 5s, 1 dairy tow £4, 1 do.. £4- 17s 6(1, 1 do emptv £3" 15s, 1 do' empty £3, 2 Jerse'v'eows £.8 5s, i bav mare £4 10s. Two stand Wolseley shearing plant complete, £32. the wool press £14 10s. nne dynamo £14. A quantity of furniture and sundries sold well at later clearing sale rates.
