RADIO FOR HOSPITAL
TO BE COMPLETED BY CHRISTMAS FUND APPROACHES £450. Assurance that the full equipment of the Napier Hospital with wireless installation would he completed before Christmas was given at a rneeting of the general cdmmittee, which was set up to deal with the matter, held last night and presided over by Mr H. Anderson. At a meeting the following were appointed the administration comniittee : — Messrs C. 0'. Morse, T. M. Geddis, H. Anderson, J. Harris, V. Harris, Dr. Ziele and Dr. Biggs. Trustees of the fund were appointed as follows : — Messrs C. O. Morse (chairman of the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board), Dr. Biggs (superintendent of the hospital), Mr T. M. Geddis (president of tlie Napier Rotary Club), a representative of the Napier Radio Society and Mr R. M. Chadwick. Much appreciation was expressed of the efforts of the nurses in their collection towards the fund and Dr. Biggs was requested to convey tlie appreciation of the coinmittee to the staff. It was made a recommendatioii to the administration comniittee that they go into the ways and means of instailing wireless equipment in the McHardy Home and also at the porters' quarters at tbe Napier Hospital.
