NELSON MEETING'S CONGRATULATIONS. TO PARLIA31ENTARY C03I3IITTEE

NELSON, This day. A large meeting of scliool cominittees and teachers of the Nelson education district was addressed by the Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education, last evening. It unanimouslv passed a resolution congratulating tlie Pai'liamcntary Education Committee on its compreheu' i v; report and stating that it consileved that if the majority of the findiags of the committee are given effeet to, the education system of the Dominion should he plaeed in a more satisfaetory position. The meeting paid a warm tribute to the Minister's work in tlie cause of education.
