POST MORTEIU EXA1VI INATION TO BE aiADE. DEATH OF 3HRS PAGE.

AUCKLAND, Last night. By order of the coroner, Mr Hunt a post mortem examinatiou is to he made of the hody of Mrs Linda Rubina Page, agcd 35, who was found dead in a waterhole at Silverdale on Friday afternoon. This action followed the inquest, which was opened this morning and adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had heen given. Mrs Page lived about two miles on the Wade Heads side of Silverdale, and it was her custom to go into the township to buy her provisions. O11 her way she had to walk over a plank which crossed a tidal ereek. According to the evidence given at the inquest Edward Ceeil Charles Hart weut to meet Jlrs Page and found her dead in a waterhole three feet deep. Hart explained to the Crown that Mrs Page was divorced three months ago and since then he and she had heen living togetlier as man and wil'e. Hart said that 011 an-iving at the creek he had noticed parcels on the bank. They appeared to have been placed 011 tlie ground. "Tj could not see any signs of a strnggle," he added, "but there was a mark down the bank from the path to the waterhole. Her hat was hy the parcels. There was a bruise on her forehead."
