RIFLE SHOOTING
NAPIER DEFENCE CLUB. THE PEDERSEN TROPHY. On Saturday afternoon the members of the Napier Defence Club fired the second _ slioot for trophy presented by the vico-patron, Mr P. Pedersen. Weather conditious were good, and some good cards were retumed. Dep-uty-President Proffitt, with 92 off the rifle, takes the ladder badge and also heads the handicap list.
