HASTINGS PICTURE THEATRES. TO-NIGHT'S PROGRAMMES. "Tlie Idle Ricli," William de Mille's all-talking picture for Metro-GoJdwyn-Mayer, which is at tlie Cosy de Luxe Theatre to-night, and which was taken from "White Collars," the highly successful stage comedy, might have been called "Pink Collars" with a great deal of appropriafeness, for when William de Mille made the new "talkie feature on the sound stages the male members of the cast had to have their linen and collars dyed pink m order not to catch the glare of the new incandescent lighting. It used to be that. light hlue photographed an immaculate white, but since the talkie pictures hrought> a new lighting system into vogue, pink is the order of the day. Conrad Nagel, Bessie Love and Leila Hyams head the elaborate cast, wliich includes Edytlje Cliapman ancl James Neill, those two famous character actors of stage and screen; Itobert Ober, Kenneth Gibson and Paul Kruger.
