A PERFECT DAY
THE WEATHER IN HASTINGS. BEACHES AND PARKS POPULAR. Tlie niost perfect day since last1 Summer was esperienced in Hastings yesterday, and a continuation of tlie conditions to-day suggests that the Summer weather lias at last really made its appearance. Thousands of people took full advantage of yesterday's glorious weather and the beaches were thronged with people, whilst the cool parks and river banks were also very thickly populated for the day. The on-ly drawback to the day was that it was really too hot, but coming so suddenly after such uncertain weather, the heat was more trying than would _ probably have been the case otherwise. However, a good spell of this weather will no doubt be appreciated hy most people.
