BARRACKS ATTACKED. Revolvers Brought Into Play.
(Reoeived This Day. 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This May. An _ attempt to wreck the barracks occupied by master butchers at Aberdeen, who were killing stock for Sydney trade, _was made hy ahout 30 men. They maintained a fusillade of missile throwing until scattered hy the police, who fired over the heads of the attackers. Large quantities of blue metal were hnrled througli doorways and windows of the barracks, where there were 54 butchers. A mild scatter took place when the police, who were also living ou the premises, brought revolvers into play. _ ^ Additional police have heen rushed to Aherdeen. where all is now quiet.
