FAMILY WIPED OUT Knife Plunged Into Hearts A GREAT MAN HUNT.
j me .uay, iu a.m.) VANCOUYER, Nov. 30. A sheriff's posse is conducting a great man-liunt for a fiendish horseman who wiped out a Duchess County lamily of four with a knife. All were stabbed to death in and around their farmliouge. James Gerniond, liis wife, 3IabeI, botli aged 47, their son and daughter, ■died_ when the killer, with uncanny precision, plunged the knife into their hearts. No trace of tlie knife was found, but unmist-akable and definite footr.iints of a horse were discovered.
