The lighting effects are also deserving of especial praise and tliese were responsible for a great deal of admiration. Upon entering tbe doorway tbe first feature wbich niet the gaze and beld it. fascinated, .was tlie revolving windmiil, tlie sails of wbicb wero higbly cofoured witli sparkling surfacs wbicb brilliantly reffected tbe rays of spotligbts playcd upon tbem. Tliis lield a central position and to tbe rigbt' and left could be seen otber deligbtful effects wbicb one eucountered more closely as tlie game proceeded. Two large rooms bave been eonyerted* into tlie course and tbese are joined by an old fasbioned bridge, at tlie foot of whicb were observed higbly coloyred pools. Tbe course is being rim by tbe same management as tbe Giety Tbeatre .and every" care bad been taken for adequate service to be accorded patrons, tbere being a young army of "assistaut professionals" to point the way and to watcb tbe points wlierfi blockages were likely to occur owing to the difficult natnre of tbe bazards. Tt was a tborougblv successful evening and augurs well for tbe future success of "Rookery Nook."
