First Innings Win.

In the third grade cricket in Napier, Technical College A secured a first innings win from T.C.O.B.. The College boys batted first, making 86 (Griffin 25, Cushing 19 and O'Connell 17). For Old Boys, Oswell took two wickets for 35 and Bowman four for five. T.C.O.B. made 66 in their second knock, Krozier 21, Pirie and Bowman 10 each, being the best scorers. For School, Griffin secured six for 23 and Kauter four for 36. The end of play prevented School from completing their second innings, when they had lost one wicket for 75.
