ALL BRITISH THRILLER, MAJESTIC TO-NIGHT.

A. E. D. Mason's most thrilling 3etective story, "The House of the Arrow," has been adapted to the taikmg screen and will he the feature iilm at the popular Majestic Theatre, commencing to-night. The production is entirely :British. The peace that reigned over the Maison Grenelle in Dijon since the toming of night was siiddenly shattered. In her room, Mts. Marlow, the owner of the house, began to scream and rave, accusing some r>erson of blackmail, and' threatening to call in the police. The next morning Mrs Harlow was found dead and murder was( the suspected cause of her sudden death.- Dijon, for some time, kad been cursed by a blackmailep . known as "The Scourge," and the police decided to use the Harlow case as a cloak for the investigations which tbey believe will bring "Th'e Scourge" to^ book. M. Hanaud, most fanious of criminologists in France, is called in to aid the police. At the Maison Grenelle live two beantiful young girls, one a niece, the otker a friend of the dead woman. Was it possible that either _ of these could have eommitted the crime? Hanaud allows nobody to go free; he points the finger of suspicion at everyhody, and finally sucoeeds in establisking the identity of the murderer as well as bringing to justice that hitherto elusive criminal, "The Scourge." A brilliant British cast supports Dennis Neilson-Terry, who represents one of the most famous "names" on the English stage. They include Benita Hume, one of the prettiest of the English stars, also Richard Cooper and Barhara Gott. An excellent selection of all British short subjects will support the feature film. Seats may he reserved at the theatre. Call or ring 2708.
