JVlarshall Neilan, the director, with a colonrful story hased 011 incidents in Rudy Vallee \s Ijt'e, has produced one of the most lavisll musieal shows ever seen 011 the screen. The first lialf of the hill is "Second Wife," a society drama with Conrad Nagel and Lila Lee.
AT THE MFNICIPAL. Something new in Westerns— a talkie in wliich every ineh of film was actually made "oji "location" at the ' exact scenes of the story along the Rio Virgin in soutli-western Utah — is at the Municipal Theatre. "The Arizona Kid" is the picture in question and it is a signal triumpli for everyone concerned, including the cast-, the director and the author. Warner Baxter, who created history with his role of "The Oisccs Kid" in "In Old Arizona," again plays _ the dashing, dehonair handit, hut in a story of wider sweep and against more spectacular bacltgrounds thaii the earlier film afforded and the captiyating Alona Maris, the heroine _ of "Romance of Rio Grande" with this same leading man and director, has a role worthy of her unusual talents in the current production.
