"Spliuters" is a great all-British talkie, the production that sets the standgrd for future talking and smgmg films. "Spliuters" .is "England's challenge to talkie supremacy, and what a challenge ! More thrills than a Wallace story, and more fun — lots more than "The Better 'Ole." Although ricli in comedy a very great part of tlie virtue of this picture is the singing of the men in chorus. That is rousing and inspiring and will prove unforgettable to many. The men of "Splinters" are soldiers a'nd not actors in costume. The spirit of "Splinters" is tliat of the men who created the first army concert party and that of the men from the trenches who made the finest audiences that ever sat in a theatre. I11 the production of "Splinters" there are both romance and reality. Some of the original items played in Francc are included in the nicture and will doubtless be remembered by many thousands of soldiers who knew the old Bra Sat I'heatre in France. "Splinters" is real solid satifying entertainment. Reserves at Wood's Music Depot, phone 294 S. Norsewood Tennis.
