ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. [BY TELEGRAPH-PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, This Day.
A baker named John Watson, 37 years of age, attempted to commit suicide last evening by swallowing a decQction of matchheads, which he gulped down before his wife could prevent him. He is in a precarious condition. His wife says he has appeared to suffer from delusions of late.
