NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN th.at a Meeting of the Hutt County Council will be held on Tuepday, the 13th day of December, 1898, for the purpose, amongst other things, of completing a Special Order making a Special Rate, by confirming a resolution passed at a Special Meeting of tho Council duly convened for and held on Tuesday, the Bth clay of November, 1898, at the offices of the Council. It is hereby resolved that after the • expiration of twenty - eight clear days from the Bth day of November, 1888, the Hutt County Council intends to make and levy a Special Rato of three-eighths of a penny (id) in the £ on the ratable value of all ratable property as hereinafter described, that is to say, Section 317, part Section 312, part Section 307, Section 305, Block 8, Sections 306, 183, 314., 313, 315, 428, 325, and 316, Block 9, Belmont S.D. The following part sections are included in tho above described district, that ia to say, the larger portions of Sections 312 and 307, Block 8, Belmont S.D., containing together 93 acres 2 roods more or loss, and situate the northern, eastern, and j southern boundaries thereof, the said area of 63 acres 2 roods being calculated from the eastern boundaries of the said Sections 312 and 307, such. Rate to be an annual recurring Rate for a period of twenty-six years, and to bo payable at the offices of the Hutt County Council, in one instalment, on the first day of June in each year, to provide for the payment of interest and other charges on a Loan of £128 to be raised under the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886, aud amendments thereof, and the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886, and amendments thereof, for the purpose of Constructing a Road through Sections 51 and 183 and others, Block 9, Belmont S.D., and known as the road near Belmont.
