Tho members of tho Mclrosc Club held their seventeenth antnuil meeting at the Britannia Ilotol Inst evening. Tho chnir wav occupied by the President (Mr. <>. P. Pttvne). The unnuul report slated that tho club had Ijye teams in the Held lust senson, nnd could be consideicd to huve done fwirly well. Tho Henor tesim plnyed twelvo mutches, won eijrht, lost four^ /•coretl 103 points, ,and hud 6o point^ scored ugnin.st it, The roixon »et down for iho team not doing so well m in tha picviouti ocason was luck of training. Tho junior fifteen played eleven matches, won nine, lost two, scored 134 points, and bad 23 points scored ngninot it. Tho toiim won runner-up for the championship, but wan weakened by loss of members who were promoted to tho senior t«am. 'Die third-clntut train played ton matches, won four, lost six,' scored 27 points, and had 70 points scored against it., Tho fourth-chips team played eight matches, lost the lot, scoiodlS points, aud had 114 ."cored ngainxb it. Neither tho thiid i|or. the fourth-class ' teams did ho well as in the former hcason through (viint of proper uttenlion to train- J it)f( and combination. The fifth-chws ream plnyed eight matches, lost teven, and imo w;us dniwn ; no points were pfored uy the team, but 54 points were scored against it. Praise was given to .Mr. G. V. Payne (President), Mr. A. 11. Fullford (Vire-President), und' Mr. 0. Campbell (Club Captain) for assistance during the year.
