Embroidered and worked on this lace is a beautiful design in leaves and scroll work, the leaves being formed of black silk outlined with narrow white braid, and the scroll work being filled in with black and steel sequins. The whole effect is indeed lovely. With this skirt piece goes material for the bodice. The value of this Gown is 25 guineas, but the discount enables us to mark it 15 guineas. 3. Another effective Black Robe is made on a foundation of very good black silk grenadine. Round the skirt, about six inches from the ground, commences a beautiful design in black silk Cluny lace of the richest character, which is appliqued on to tlie material. This design gradually rises and spreads till at last it envelopes the whole skirt. This robe attracts one's attention and admiration immediately. The material for the bodice is included. Price, 12 guineas. 3. A third Black Robe is made entirely of heavy silk Cluny lace in a bold and attractive design. It also has material for bodice. Price, 4. A less expensive Robe, but a very effective one, is made of a black Brussels lace with a quaint scroll design worked on it in gold sequins. Sequins are beginning to be much worn at Home for evening gowns, so these robes are particular bargains. Price, 6s{6 5. Another pretty and inexpensive Black Robe is made of Chantilly lace with six frills of narrow lace to match foundation at foot. Price, 69/6 6. The last Robe we shall describe is also a black one, and is made of Point d'Esprit net trimmed with narrow silk ribbon and finished at foot with two frills of the net edged with ribbon.
