Also started : Daredevil and Waitoa 9.12, Maureen 9.10, Rungarawa 9.9, Seagull 9.0, Victoria Park, Phemie, and WhakaAvetu 8.7. Won fairly comfortably. Time, 2min 12 2-ssec. Dividends, £3 6s and £7 6s. Raihvay Welter, of 120 soys ; seven furlongs. — Auratus, 8.4, 1 ; Jeanne d'Arc, 8.4, 2; Noneen, 7.7, 3. Also started: Kaharoa 9.9, Tirole 9.3, Parkshot 8.9, Novgorod 8.7, Hardwork 8.5, Glory 8.0, Bandmaster 7.9, Little Turk and Rustique 7.7. Won by two lengths from Jeanne d'Arc.
