At the second day of the Feilding meeting, the sum of £9723 was put through the machine, making £22,360 for the meeting — an increase of £3670 compared with last year. Following are concluding results :—: — Rongotea Hack Hurdles, of 100 soys ; one mile and a half. — Vivacity, 9..3, 1 ; Repulse, 10.5, 2 ; Durban, 9.10, 3. Also started : Athol Maid 10.0, ( Peruvian 9.13, Monarque 9.11, Good Hope 9.10, Jewel Gun 9.6, Romany King 9.4, Domain 9.0. Won by two lengths. Time, 3min ssec. Dividends, £14 8s and £1 2s. Welter Hack Flat, of 100 soys; one mile and a distance. — Rapids, 9.13, 1 ; Crimson Lake, 8.12, 2 ; Benair, 9.13, 3. Also started : Daredevil and Waitoa 9.12, Maureen 9.10, Rungarawa 9.9, Seagull 9.0, Victoria Park, Phemie, and WhakaAvetu 8.7. Won fairly comfortably. Time, 2min 12 2-ssec. Dividends, £3 6s and £7 6s. Raihvay Welter, of 120 soys ; seven furlongs. — Auratus, 8.4, 1 ; Jeanne d'Arc, 8.4, 2; Noneen, 7.7, 3. Also started: Kaharoa 9.9, Tirole 9.3, Parkshot 8.9, Novgorod 8.7, Hardwork 8.5, Glory 8.0, Bandmaster 7.9, Little Turk and Rustique 7.7. Won by two lengths from Jeanne d'Arc. Noneen beat Parkshot on the post for second place. Time, lmin 38 4-ssec. Dividends, £9 3s. and £2 16s: Hack Scurry, of 100 soys; five furlongs (weight 9.7).— Fancywork, 1; Apiti, 2; First View, 3. Also started : Fishermaid, .Chartreuse, St. Amelia, Handsome Kate, Whataroa, Immolation, Explode, Clifton, Swop, Cyrene, Rosewood, Wiid Duck, Barman. Won with a little to spare. Time, lmin 3-ssec. Dividends, £5 16s and £8 15s.
