The market rato of discount for best three months' bills^is 7^d lewer at 2 51-32 nd per cent. The Bank of England rato is 3 per cent, as against Si per cent, on 21st April, and 4- per oent. on tho 14-th April. COLONIAL AND OTHER PRODTJOE. Wheat. — The market is firmer, with a good speculative demand for distant cargoes; 8000 quarters Australian, February ahipnibnt, and 12,000 quarters DeoemberJanuary shipmefat sold at 33a. Austra.ian wheat, on spot, is slow of sale, at 33s 6d to 345. New Zealand wheat, spot, long-ber-ried, 32s 6d ; short, 33s 6d. Flour is slow, with an easier tendency. London quotation, 25s 6d to 265 ; Glasgow, 26s 6d to_27s. Butter is firm with good enquiry for all classes of colonial, especially secondaries. Danish, 114s to 116s; Victorian ohoicest, 104s to 106s ; few saltless lots at 108s ; New South Wales, 102s to 104s. Sugar is slow of sale. German beet, 88 deg., 4d lower at 14s 5 first mark granulated, 2d ltiwer, at 15s 4cl per cwt. Sheepskins. — At the sales §500 balos were offered, an 4 all sold, the bidding being spirited. Mwino, id to id higher; fine, crossbreds, £d to Id; and medium and coarse orossbreds, Id higher, the advances .being due to American purchases. Bradford Tops.— Tho market is excited. Common sixties, unchanged at 24-d, and super sixties unohadged at 243 d -per lb; 46's, at 16d to 17d per lb. THE METAL MARKETS. Copper— Spot, 2s 6d higher, at £66 15s ; three months', 2s 6d higher, at £67 2s od per ton. Tin.— Spot, 42s 6d higher, .at £135 15s; three months', 20s higher, at £134 10s per ton. Pig-iron. — Middlesborough, No. 1 cash, 8d higher, at 4Ss 5d per ton. Lead, unchanged, at £12 18s 9d per ton. Silver, 2s 3|d per oz. KAURI GUM SALES. (Received December 3, 9.50 a.mi) LONDON, 2nd December. At the kauri auction sales 1414 cases were offered and 250 sold. Prices are unchanged. There are 1008 cases in stock.
