UNIONIST FREETRADE CLUB.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS. [press association.! LONDON, 3rd December. The Duke of Devonshire presided over a meeting of members of the Unionist Freetrade Club held at Devonshire House. There were 130 present. Viscount Goschen, Lord Balfour of Burleigh, and Lord George Hamilton were chosen Vice-Presidents. Lord James of Hereford, Lord Avebury, and Lord Biddulph were elected Hon. Treasurers of the Club, and Sir William Gull Hun. Secretary. The speakers at the meeting included Lord Robert Cecil, llie Earl of Lichfield, the Earl of Lytton, Sir John Gorst, M.P., Sit Edward Strachey, M.P., Sir John Stirling-Maxwell, M.P., Hon. A. Elliot. M.P., Right Hon. Henry Hobhouse, M.P., Hon. F. W. Ljvmbton, M.P. An executive committee of twenty-four members and a general committee of 154 members were elected.
