JOHNSONVILLE LAWN-TENNIS CLUB

At the opening of the Johnsonville Lawn Tennis Club's courts on Saturday, the president, Mr. F. Bethune, referred to the loss the club had sustaoned by the recent death of Mr. J. J. Moore, a vicepresident and life member, who had taken a deep intrest in the affairs of the club from its inception, although ill health in recent years had prevented hia taking an active part in the game. The patron, Mr, R. A. Wright, M.P., formally declared the season open, and a number of games were enjoyed by members and visitors, under ideal weather conditions. '■■■.•
