LONDON, sth October. The Zurich correspondent of:the Daily News states that Berlin is Bending alternate streams of lavish promises and violent threats to Constantinople. Entente diplomacy is active. ♦ ' Ten thousand deserters from Constantinople sent an ultimatum to TaJaat Pasha and Enver Pasha to resign. The Ministers sent troops to disperse the deserters, and a pitched battle followed. The result is not known. It has been reported that the deserters in Asia Minor have captured several towns.
